Whitehouse Master Bath

The original bath was dated, damaged and the large Jacuzzi was never a feature used very often.  I find this is often the case with clients.

The Jacuzzi was removed and replaced with a smaller soaking tub which leaves the room feeling much more open.  Mirrors would be added later above the vanity.

The soaking tub is surrounded by tile on the wall to match the shower area.

The shower features a running bond "subway" style tile pattern, with a vertical mosaic and a niche built into the wall in the rear.  This picture was taken before the installation of glass shower doors.

The floor tile is a large 12x24 size again installed in a staggered pattern across the floor area.  A marble topped double sink vanity leaves plenty of room to spread out.

Plenty of light comes in from the existing skylight and window.

A separate private area was maintained for the toilet.

This master bath was an effort to modernize and refresh a tired old design.  There was a lot of work to remove an old Jacuzzi tub and install extensive tile, along with the other changes, but the result was a wonderful new space.
